Meet your host
Jen Cui
I’ve always felt most connected to myself and life itself through deep friendships and community.
I’ve hosted Friendsgiving for 7 of the 8 years I’ve lived in LA. I absolutely love planning and hosting intimate dinners and host frequent gatherings with friends. In college I created CLOVER, a vegan and environmental club, my freshman year that still to this day is growing strong and has created a lasting impact that went beyond my intentions for it. And just in this last year, I’ve connected with 850+ guests within the Tea at Shiloh community through tarot and workshops to hear their stories and to guide them.
When I learned that I held the Channel of Community in Human Design, it was no surprise that I’m meant to hold people together (I’m also a Cancer Midheaven).
Jen’s Zen Den was born from the desire to share love through one of the greatest sources of joy for me— cooking and baking for those I love— and the overwhelming need for genuine in-person human connection in a post-covid tech-centered world.
Like you, I’ve felt so much darkness and pain within the human experience as well as the light and joys of it. I’ve learned how to love and trust myself, shift my mindset, and do a whole lot of healing. While all of that growth was beautiful, it would not have been possible without my sister and the women I have in my life that I consider soul sisters, earth angels, and forest faeries who were able to share their light, wisdom, and love in the times I felt disconnected from my own.
This is a space attuned to the shift of consciousness we all feel in this Age of Aquarius where humanity is being tested and the foundations of our society are restructuring to be held up by love, trust, and accountability within our communities.
May this space nourish and awaken the souls of the women that step into it.
May you be seen and flourish because of it.
