Tarot As a Mirror

A 4-week immersive in-person workshop series to deeply learn the Tarot, integrate it's wisdom into your life, and develop your intuitive gifts. Hosted in West Los Angeles by The Soul Whisperer, Jen Cui.

Tarot is a spiritual tool that mirrors your inner wisdom so you can create clarity in your life and enhance your human experience.

When you learn to see your life through the soul's journey in the Major Arcana, the archetypes of the Court Cards, and the daily lessons of the Minor Arcana, you begin to recognize the patterns, lessons, and deeper truths in your everyday experiences.

Led by Jen Cui, the Soul Whisperer, certified hypnotherapist, and seasoned tarot practitioner, these immersive workshops will give you insight, clarity, and a powerful framework for understanding who you are and what you’re here to learn.

Each session combines foundational teachings, live practice, and group reflection to help you tap into your intuition, decode the messages in the cards, and move through blocks with clarity and courage.

Each week blends teaching, practice, and ritual to help you build skill and deepen your relationship to your intuition. You’ll walk away with the ability to confidently read for yourself, and with a new community of friends.

Week 4 (August 24th) — Energetic Hygiene, Psychic Development, & Integration Practice

What to Bring: A tarot deck, journal, pen, and an open mind.

Who It’s For: Beginners, intuitives-in-training, and curious souls ready to connect more deeply with themselves and the unseen.

Includes:

  • Tea + light vegan snacks

  • Weekly online office hours (tentatively Tuesdays 4-5pm - depends on attendees)

  • Option to become a certified tarot practitioner (details shared in class)

  • Nope! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to help you build confidence from the ground up. If you’ve been curious but unsure where to start—or if you’ve dabbled but want a stronger foundation and professional feedback—you’re in the right place.

  • Any traditional 78-card tarot deck works, but we recommend one based on the Rider-Waite-Smith system, especially if you’re just starting out.   • This is a progressive, immersive experience—each week builds on the last—so full attendance is highly encouraged. If you have to miss a session, we’ll make sure you still get the key teachings and can catch up via office hours.

  • This series is intended to teach you the foundations of tarot for personal use. While you may choose to read for others on your own accord, I find it best to first develop your Tarot skills on your own before reading for others. If you know you want to read for others professionally, then join the summer series now and you’ll be invited to a practicum held later this fall to learn how to read for others.

  • No, but this workshop provides the foundation for certification. Those who complete the 4-week series will have the option to continue with a practicum held later this year in the fall to receive certification. Details will be shared in class.

  • You're going way beyond learning card meanings and actually having the opportunity to dive deep into each component of the Tarot over 20 hours of teaching! It’s an experiential immersion that weaves together spiritual development, intuitive activation, and real-time practice in community.

  • Absolutely! This space is spiritually open, non-dogmatic, and inclusive. You’re welcome here whether you identify as spiritual, religious, curious, agnostic, or somewhere in between. The only requirement is a willingness to stay open and respectful.

  • You'll be invited into my penthouse Zen Den located in West Los Angeles. You'll receive the full address and arrival details upon registration. Please note there is a resident kitty (Cleo!) who will be roaming around as you learn.

  • Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to gift or sell your ticket to someone else. Just let us know so we can update our records.

  • Definitely- and I encourage it! Learning tarot is even more fun when you have someone to share the journey with.

About Your Facilitator

Jen Cui is a professional tarot practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, and intuitive guide with over 1,000 readings completed in just the past few years. She was Tea at Shiloh's resident tarot reader, where she’s held space for guests to connect with their inner wisdom for over a year.

Passionate about making spirituality and divination tools accessible, Jen blends deep intuitive work with grounded support. She trained in psychic development and spiritual ascension under celebrity energy healer Christina Rice, and holds degrees in Health & Psychology from USC, along with certifications in life coaching and RTT® Hypnotherapy.

Her workshops offer a safe, supportive, and expansive environment where you’ll feel empowered to trust yourself, your intuition, and the path ahead.
